Once In Office President Obama Should Mandate The Legalization Of Marijuana For Medical Use

For more than half a century terminally ill cancer patients have been denied their use of marijuana for medical purposes. The truth is that marijuana never should have been made illegal in the first place. The demonization of marijuana and the hemp plant from which it's derived was propagated by the oil and paper industries back in the 1930's out of fear that hemp was a viable alternative to pulp in the production of paper products, and the petro chemical products derived from refined oil.

There have been few politically motivated and conspiratorial campaigns used to demonize, more than the one perpetrated against the hemp plant and marijuana.

And the time has come for this government to legalize the use of medical marijuana nationwide.
