Reflecting On The UFO Phenomenon & Government Cover-Up
As an amateur UFOlogist I have long been fascinated with this phenomenon as well as that of EBE's -- the US Military's acronym for extraterrestrial biological entities (aliens).
What I have found equally as fascinating is the extent to which the US Department Of Defense and several other agencies within this government (including the CIA, NSA and FBI) have gone in order to perpetuate disinformation in regard to these Beings, and to ridicule those who come forward documenting encounters which prove their existence. The time and money which they've expended in this clandestine operation over the last sixty years, have been considerable.
And given that a large enough number of Americans now believe in the strong possibility that these Beings exist, exactly what reasons does this government have for concealing this information from us?
It would seem that its interests here have nothing to do with protecting the American people from such foreign entities, but instead lie elsewhere.
Perhaps that is why we have been kept in the dark for more than half a century?
However, one need not remain in the dark in regard to the UFO phenomenon, since there is quite a bit of compelling information in regard to the existence of UFO's, as well as the EBE's that are thought to be operating them.
Among such information are a myriad of declassified documents which can be accessed by way of the US Freedom Of Information Act. Some which date as far back as the latter part of the 19th Century.
I have included just a few of them below, and listed a link at the end of today's post which will enable the readers to access a chronology of these events over the past hundred years. It's up to you to arrive at your own conclusions. Keep in mind that there have been millions of UFO sightings reported throughout the years, however, nearly all of the governments around the globe appear to be in accord that these sightings should be uniformly ignored. And furthermore, those persons reporting them should be discredited through any means necessary, in order to prevent the citizens of this planet from asking too many questions in regard to the UFO phenomenon.

Forney of MID indicated that it has been established that the flying discs are not the result of any Army or Navy experiments and should be of interest to the FBI."

Mid July, 1947. In a paper by U.S. Dr. Bruce Maccabee, he stated ' the Air Force knew by the middle of July, 1947 that saucers were real. Flying Saucers are REAL! and not manmade... the technology represented by the (recovered) disc.. was so far beyond our own that it could not be understood immediately... Therefore it would be necessary to treat the disc as a military secret. This would mean containing all information about it within some small group. (Date of this Navy paper not mentioned.)
Nov. 30, 1947 In a TOP SECRET DOCUMENT, Dr. Bronk's scientific team classifies extraterrestrials as EBE's (Extra Biological Entities).
Sept. 19, 1947 The recovered crashed saucer in New Mexico is determined to be a short range reconnaissance craft (from a mother ship).
Sept. 24, 1947 A covert operation, MAJESTIC --12, is established and classified TOP SECRET by President H. Truman. It consists of 12 persons selected to control all branches of government, both military and non-military. This ultimately led to the silencing of UFO witnesses, confiscating of UFO photos, harassing and debunking of witnesses (ref. 'Black Budget'; JMP letter see 2/15/87; 9/4/87).
December 30, 1947 Project SIGN formed to obtain information about saucer performance characteristics and their purpose on earth. B1-G, 23

Battello Memorial Institute is to handle machine indexing of all official reported sightings. From 1947 to date, there have been 1500 official sightings with 250 of them in 1952 alone. The aformentioned chronology is extremely compelling in that while the US Federal Government was using the United States media to perpetuate the notion that there were no such things as UFO's or EBE's, they were simultaneously attempting to learn as much about them as they could.
To anyone who's done their own research in regard to this phenomenon, there is a mountain of circumstantial evidence proving that the US Department Of Defense as well as the CIA, NSA and FBI have all conspired to deceive the American people, by keeping this information classified for so many years.
The first of these documents was not declassified until the mid 1970's, more than thirty years after the first sightings of these craft were secretly acknowledged by US Intelligence.
As interested as I am in the tertiary aspects of UFOlogy, I have found the accounts of a great number of abductees to be even more compelling. In the past year alone, I have read books written by two of the better known abductee/researchers -- the late Dr. Karla Turner and Katharina Wilson. The UFOlogical work conducted by both of these women is well documented and respected within the hierachy of the UFO community.
Having nearly completed Katharina's book entitled "The Alien Jigsaw," I am now more convinced than ever that a myriad of abductees are telling the truth in regard to their experiences with Beings who are clearly far more advanced both intellectually and technologically than ourselves.
I am also well aware that they are dealing with great adversity in attempting to promulgate their accounts of these abductions, simply because the US Federal Government does not want them to.
While there's no doubt that there is a remarkable amount of disinformation in regard to the UFO/EBE phenomenon, it's quite apparent that the US Government is in someway involved with these entities.
And for this reason, disinformation continues to proliferate within the public domain. There is also the issue of those with Intelligence backgrounds failing to publicly express their concerns about this phenomena, for fear that they will be ridiculed for doing so. This fear has kept far more people from coming forward with the truth in regard to UFO's and the abduction phenomenon.
As evidenced from the following comment, there is little doubt that their fear of doing so has as much to do with the destruction of their reputations, relationships and careers as it does with a loss of credibility.

If in fact these Beings do exist and are abducting American citizens (as well as those from numerous other countries) , putting one's credibility on the line will the price that needs to be paid in order to promulgate this information on a large enough scale to have meaningful impact. However, there is a much greater issue at hand here than simply refraining from propagating such information.
The time has come for the American people to acknowledge that these advanced life forms do in fact exist and that many of them have been visiting this planet since long before humans populated it.
There is also some question as to whether or not certain races of these Beings have been covertly inhabiting this planet the entire time that humans have been in existence.
In this author's opinion, the first part of the 21st Century will usher in a modern day enlightenment in regard to these advanced Beings, as the governments around the globe are no longer able to contain this situation.
Those who are heavily indoctrinated in regard to their religious beliefs will also have the most difficult time in adapting to this reality. However, the fact that these Beings exist, doesn't necessarily mean that a Supreme Creator does not.
In all likelyhood, whatever created the human race has also created these Beings. And this is of paramount importance to all of those persons who look to their religions for answers.
Acknowledging the existence of these Beings should not threaten one's belief in God. It should, however, force them to question the dogmas reinforced through their own religious belief systems. And given the questionable historical backgrounds of these religions, it is indeed time that those who "control" them owned up to the "self serving" aspects of said religions, and admitted that there is a higher truth than the ones which they have been proselytizing for so many generations.
