How Difficult Can It Be To Get Treated For Lyme Disease? Just Ask Christine Jennings Who Was Forced To Endure A Hunger Strike To Obtain Treatment

Miss Jennings lives in the United Kingdom. Based on my own experiences with the US Health Insurance Industry, if Americans who are infected with Lyme Disease attempt to obtain treatment through the use of a hunger strike, they'll end up starving to death. To quote a former Lyme Disease physician of mine: "The US Healthcare Industry could not care less whether Lyme Disease patients live or die." All they are concerned about are their hefty premiums, which many chronic Lyme Disease patients who are far too ill to work, can no longer afford to pay.

Another aspect of chronic Lyme Disease is the sheer time that it takes to treat chronic cases of it, and the inconvenience which it represents to the Lyme patients themselves, who spend years infusing IV medications daily, for several hours each day.

In 1994 I spent the better part of 5 months infusing antibiotics intravenously, 7 days a week, and for at least two to three hours a day. The treatment was not overly helpful, because I was also carrying both babesia and ehrlichia infections which were not diagnosed until 1997.

In 1997/98, I went through another eight months of intravenous antibiotic therapy 5 days a week, and for as many as 12 hours a day, given that that I was also infusing magnesium to regulate my heartbeat (which was also adversely affected by the Lyme Disease). While using doxycycline, which is extremely caustic, the original PICC line that was inserted into a vein which led directly to my heart muscle began to build up residue from the doxy, resulting in infusion times which were often 4 to 6 times longer than usual. Eventually, the PICC line needed to be replaced.

Unless one has experienced what one must go through with chronic Lyme Disease and its long-term treatment protocol, there is no way to understand the devastation that this illness causes in the patient's life. Years at a time are lost, simply attempting to cope with this biological weapon 24 hours a day, as it destroys both the health and finances of the Lyme Disease patient.

In its creation of Lyme Disease, the US Federal Government has been very successful in destroying the lives of myriad Americans. And the other mycoplasma based bio weapons which this government has disseminated in such covert vectors as deer ticks, sand mites and mosquitoes, as well as airborne pathogens such as Morgellon's Disease, have been just as effective in decimating the lives of other citizens within the United States -- many of whom remain chronically ill and unable to hold a job.

What can you say for a government that uses its own citizens to test its bioweapons on? Exactly what we still say about such a government when it existed in Germany back in the 1930's and '40's. This government and those who control it are evil.
