Friendly Fire Death Of An FBI Agent Shot In Bank Seige

This past Friday, an FBI agent was shot to death while engaged in a shootout with alleged bank robbers. At first this story was all over the headlines, but when an updated version hit the media, one which intimated that this agent had been shot and killed by one of his fellow agents, a media blackout quickly ensued.

Only the Washington Post appears to have covered this incident in any detail. Once again, the second that a situation occurs in which the FBI is perceived in any negative way, efforts to evade public scrutiny immediate follow.
