Dr. Wernher Von Braun is considered by many Americans to be the father of the modern day U.S. space program. And that he certainly remains. However, what most Americans don't know about Von Braun is that before being smuggled into the United States by the CIA during a covert program in which to foment the subversion of the U.S. Federal Government, Von Braun was a loyal member of Hitler's Nazi party, and involved in the murders of thousands of Jews during the Holocaust.

As such, Truman was left with the difficult decision (one encouraged by the Pentagon) of fomenting a plot in which to smuggle these Nazi war criminals into the United States under the CIA's newly created Project Paperclip program -- a treasonous program which would eventually lead to the complete subversion of the U.S. Federal Government.
Truman was never comfortable with his role in such a mass deception of the American people, and by the time he had realized that he'd been conned by the CIA and its own Nazi sympathizers, it was too late to stop the CIA's subversion of the U.S. Federal Government; irreparable damage had been done, and would continue to be perpetrated against the American people into the next millennium.
