When one observes the abject deceit that Americans have been routinely subjected to by the US Military/Industrial/Intelligence Complex in the past Century this old grammer school song comes to mind. Through their extensive LIES they have managed to turn every aspect of the truth completely around, to the point where virtually every aspect of this country's history has become a LIE.

In the 1930's, Gulf Oil magnate Andrew Mellon managed to convince publishing magnate William Randolph Hearst that the Hemp Industry was a threat to his financial investment in the vast acreage of trees that he owned, which served as the pulp needed to make the paper necessary for his publishing empire. As a result of this Hearst became a staunch opponent of the marijuana lobby and used his publishing empire to demonize the Hemp Industry by ostensibly attacking the negative aspects of marijuana, in efforts to shut the industry down. He even financed the movie "Reefer Madness" to further demonize marijuana. Ironically enough, throughout the years it's become a cult classic with reefer users.

The following is an excellent article on how the US oil magnates used the pretext of a marijuana scare to destroy their competitors in the Hemp industry. As Americans we've all paid a very heavy price for this in the loss of better alternatives to the ecologically unfriendly oil and paper industries. These Illuminists have used many types scare tactics over the years to redirect attention away from their own crimes. The Red Scare of the 20th Century was done to distract Americans so that they would not be aware of the Nazi influence that was gradually pervading the United States - an influence that in the present day has completely overrun us. The contemporary Green Scare is yet another example of such machinations, where decent people who want to protect our environment are demonized by the very miscreants who are destroying it.
