George W. Bush Continues To Deceive The Public Stating That America Is Not In A Recession, While Attempting To Defend NAFTA

NAFTA remains the greatest threat to the US manufacturing sector in the history of this country. So is it any wonder why one of the architects of the soon to be realized North American Union (GWB himself) would attempt to defend it?

This merger will appear innocuous enough at first, with the governments of the United States, Mexico, and Canada all working more closely than ever before, as the line between them becomes nebulous enough, that the citizens of these respective countries begin to question the loyalty of their own governments. And by that time, the North American Union will be on the precipice of emerging as a single nation.

Notice Bush's alliance with Mexican President Felipe Calderon and Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper, in regard to the passage of a free trade pact with Columbia. This is an illustration of how the heads of these three nations are colluding on decisions which will adversely affect the citizens of each of our respective countries in the future.

What we have here is a covertly treasonous act being perpetrated by George W. Bush, to disenfranchise the American people from their inherent rights as American citizens.

NEW ORLEANS (AP) - President Bush, replying to criticism from Democratic presidential candidates, said Tuesday that "now is not the time to renegotiate ... or walk away from" the North American Free Trade Agreement. He also denied the U.S. was in a recession, calling it a slowdown instead.

Bush also used a joint news conference with Mexican President Felipe Calderon and Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper to renew his call for Congress to pass a free-trade pact with Colombia. He said House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's refusal to schedule a vote could effectively kill it this year.

"It makes no sense to me to say that Colombian goods can come into our country duty-free, yet our goods can't go into Colombia duty-free," Bush said sternly. "And yet that's the case. An agreement with Colombia would level the playing field."

Asked about the state of the U.S. economy, Bush said: "We're not in a recession. We are in a slowdown."
