NSA Satellite F83 --- Echelon -- Spying On The British From Their Own Country -- Was GCHQ Doublecrossed By The NSA?

This is an interesting post since the * UKUSA Treaty of the late 1940's between the NSA and Britain's Secret Service, GCHQ, is alleged to have given the two agencies a reciprocal spying program in which to spy on each other's populations while exchanging information -- this occurring in violation of the privacy laws protecting the rights of each countries citizens. It was this illicit ability to spy domestically, while circumventing such laws that's allowed for the unbridled satellite tracking systems which the NSA presently uses to spy on the American people.

*UKUSA was created in 1948 between the United States, Canada, New Zealand, Australia and the United Kingdom. However, the most important relationship here has been between the United States and the United Kingdom.

Interestingly enough, the following article discusses how the NSA may have double crossed GCHQ by using its Echelon spy network to conduct its own protracted fishing expeditions of citizens living in the United Kingdom. Spy VS Spy = Rat VS Rat.

The US Intelligence credo: If we don't get caught it's not illegal.
