Another Black Eye For The Neo Nazi FBI

Earlier this year, another example of how the FBI's agents (with few exceptions) consider themselves to be above the Constitutional rule of law. FBI agents will do almost anything to protect their own informants (many of whom are criminals) including allowing innocent people to be convicted for crimes that these informants committed. The FBI has even allowed those whom it knew were innocent of capital crimes to be sentenced to death for them; being left to sit on death row waiting to be executed, while the FBI protected the informants who actually committed these crimes.

An FBI agent has been charged with exceeding his authorization in obtaining information that was used to tip off an informant, authorities said Wednesday. William Shirk, 37, had investigated a corruption case, but was removed in February 2006. He is accused of subsequently accessing a database, learning that other agents discovered the informant's involvement in narcotics trafficking and money laundering. Shirk allegedly told the informant he had "taken care" of the investigation. He faces up to five years in prison. — DK
