1975 Church Committee Report To The Select Committee To Study Governmental Operations With Respect To Intelligence Activities

The following report constitutes the Church Committee's disturbing findings in regard to the US Intelligence Community, and in particular the National Security Agency. Senator Church arrived at the conclusion that in the wrong hands, the NSA could be used to turn the United States into a dicatorship. And in the 21ST Century, that is exactly what the NSA is being used to accomplish, under the pretense of protecting the American people from terrorism.
